So overdue for Karen to be Featured Stamper this week. Her gallery has always amazed me. I was going to try out some black magic as Karen created some beautiful cards with the technique, but I chickened out and opted for, what I thought, would be a quick simple card - NOT!!
It's not your fault Karen, I just got carried away as usual. Karen's very lovely one-layer card is the one I chose to case seen here:
I took this card to places I NEVER intended, but guess I was just so inspired by Karen's gallery. I ended up with several layers, embossing, glitter, punches, ribbon and bling. Let's just say it's CAS gone astray.
I'm trying to work more on scenery and coloring, so thought this would be a good time to practice once again. I couldn't find just the right ribbon for the top like Karen had, so I opted to use card stock with a bordered punch and added ribbon and bling to the top of the border.
At the last minute, I decided to use my fence punch in front of the flowers. I lightly highlighted a couple birds that were on the embossing folder and added a trio of butterflies who just happen to be flying in perfect unison - what can I say? In my world, it must be balanced!! LOL!!
I embossed the sentiment in white on the fence and I popped up the main panel on dimensionals.
ENJOY your special week Karen and if I have time, I may try another or work on that black magic.
Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to look and have a great week!!

OMG, Pam, this is spectacular! What's new????? I love this lavendar lace. Great job with the top punch, lace, and gemstones. Of course, I love your 'in
perfect unison' butterflies. The fence is just the right punch for those flowers. Did I say this was OUTSTANDING? It is! About my beetle punch, Michael's.

This is just beautiful, Pam! I love the colors and layers. You really did a great job w/ the border punches and gems. From my own experience, whenever I set out to make a simple card, it turns into a day long investment project. I have no clue how people to CAS on a regular basis.
